Social Media Analysis

The brand has a larger following on TikTok, this platform allows the brand to target specific consumer and tailor the content to different views based on the used of trending sounds and hashtags. The brand also uses this platform for more informal content, such as day in the life videos and how they create their content for instagram by recreating Pinterest pictures.

On the brands Instagram they use a lot of user generated content or repost picture from influencers Instagrams that fit with the aesthetic of the feed. This is something the brand could build on and increase engagement on their Instagram by creating brand specific hashtags and encouraging customer to use these hashtags.

Increasing Engagement on Instagram

Giveaways

For a growing brands giveaways are a low cost and effective way to increase engagement. This will encourage potential customer to interact with the brand, as well as getting loyal customer to increase brand awareness.

Brand Hashtag

Creating a specific hashtag for the brand to use and to encourage customers and followers to use will increase engagement. This also builds relationships with customer and follower as it allows them to be more involved in the brand.

Giveaway

The brand can link the giveaway to an event, for example Mothers Day, Easter or celebration of reaching a new mile stone on social media.

The brand can offer gift cards or jewellery as the prizes for the giveaways.

Asking followers to share the giveaway to increase their chances of winning. Also increasing brand awareness.

Brand Hashtag

#lemelamonday

The use of this hashtag can be encouraged through sharing on Instagram Stories and business cards that are sent with orders. Inspiring the customer and follower to use the hashtag by using rewards, such as, one follower a month receives 20% off their next order.

 

Each Monday the brand reposts a select few of the posts, with the hashtag, on their stories or if they fit with the brand aesthetic they could be posted on the brands feed. This is also a great way to use user generated content within the brands social media.
